Bexley Conservatives Annual Quiz
 

The annual Bexley Conservative inter-ward Quiz was held at Falconwood Community Centre on the 27^th November 2009.

Ward teams from the whole of Bexley fiercely competed in the general quiz for the Hilary Betts Memorial Cup. This year’s victors were Danson Park Ward, who have won the cup for the previous 2 years.

The Evennett Egg, presented by David Evennett MP, for the winners of the Political Quiz was won by St Michael’s Ward – their first win in the history of the competition.

All those present also took part in a game of Stand Up Bingo, where Crayford Councillor Howard Marriner won a bottle of Champaine. The proceeds of this were donated to this years Mayors Charity - Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Old Bexley & Sidcup’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, James Brokenshire M.P. presented the awards at the end of the evening.
